Seattle Newborn Baby Photography
We have planned every detail of our studio for the comfort and convenience of our newborn clients. Sit back and relax on the studio couch as photographer Sarah Samuels captures beautiful images your newborn. We provide all of the props and outfits for your newborn session, so all you need to bring is a full heart for your little bundle of joy. We are located in Mill Creek and service the greater Seattle area with newborn photography and family photography.
What should I expect during my newborn session?
The Bundle & Bounce studio is based in the photographer’s home. The studio is furnished with a couch, rocking chair, and changing table with diapers and a wipe warmer. I keep the studio at around 80 degrees for baby’s comfort so I highly suggest that any adults attending the session dress in layers to prevent overheating. Sit back and relax as we capture your baby’s tiny little features during their first days of life.
What if my baby doesn’t arrive on time?
When booking a newborn session, we will typically schedule your session date around one week out from your due date. This date is always tentative on baby’s actual arrival date. If baby arrives in the expected timeframe, we will simply keep your original date. If baby arrives early or late, the photographer will provide a new session date within 14 days of baby’s birth.
How old should my baby be for a newborn session?
Although Bundle & Bounce will photograph babies at any age, it is important that your baby is between 1-2 weeks old for a newborn session. This is the perfect time because baby is sleepy and still flexible from being in mom’s tummy.
How do I prepare for my newborn session?
I request that you dress your newborn in loose fitting clothing before the session to prevent red marks on baby’s skin. You may choose to feed your baby immediately before coming to the studio, or upon arrival. Please be prepared to feed your baby multiple times during the session. Please bring supplies to feed and change baby, and a pacifier if you are using one.
What should I wear?
If your session is being held at the Bundle & Bounce studio, please dress in neutral, coordinating colors. Bold patterns, bright colors, and logos may distract from the subject. If we are holding your session outdoors, please dress for the weather. Coordinated outfits and color schemes look especially pleasing for group photos.
Do I need to bring props or outfits to my newborn session?
The photographer will provide all of the wraps, accessories, and props, and baby outfits for your newborn session.
Can I take photos or video during my session?
I kindly request that you do not photograph or record any portion of the session.
